writing

i run an independent pop-culture publication, dot dot dash, and have had the opportunity to cover a variety of incredible artists on a press basis. as well as photographing shows, i often write an accompanying piece. i’ve always enjoyed writing, from my poem about why i loved the colour orange at aged 7, to analysing english literature at A-level. nowadays i’m especially into music writing — i could talk at great length about different facets of music, like what makes a great song, how boundless genre is, music history, and an artist’s cultural impact. thankfully, writing for ddd allows for this sort of freedom :)
